FEES: $10 members, $15 non-members. Limited to 20 students

Here's a fun 3-D effect, especially for a child's quilt: add pockets, flaps and hide fancy buttons sewn inside the pockets.

You will need to have your background done before class because it is a 3-hour class. Options are: Use 1 fabric-bring 1 yd of background and 1/2 yd of sashing. OR, make a backgound out of various fabrics such as a large 9 patch to equal 1 yd with sashing between. Backing, batting, binding can be chosen later.

FABRIC LIST: Substitute your own color scheme if you like. For instance, if a particular set of sashing strips is identiified as being all one color, consider multiple fabrics reading nearly the same. Also, consider using a different fabric for the lining of the picket or flap.
